What a year!

It has been a tremendous blessing to me to be able to share my love of reading and the stories that have been swirling around in my head. Growing up, we were forced to write stories in elementary school as part of the Young Authors Contest, and as the son of an English teacher, I was taught to enjoy reading. One of the most beautiful aspects of story writing is that with fiction, you can change the ending. You may not be able to go back in time and change situations, but you can make the adjustment with your writing or even get your perspective out when nobody else would listen.

In this last year, I have had the opportunity to share my books with students of all ages, going to churches, day cares, and elementary schools. It has been a joy to me to be able to encourage young minds to embrace the stories that are in their heads and to teach them some much needed lessons along the way. I never try to dictate the lessons that come forth from the books, but I will continue to plant seeds as long as the Lord blesses me to share.
